Booking

No advance booking is required. You can directly go to the Thulabharam counter near the East Nada.

Weighing

You will be weighed on a large scale. The counter staff will assist you in calculating the equivalent weight of the offering item.

Offering

The item equal to your body weight is offered to Lord Guruvayurappan. You can pay the cost of the item at the counter.

  • Morning: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
  • Evening: 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Can I bring my own items for Thulabharam?

Yes, you can bring items. However, you must inform the Devaswom office a day in advance for non-standard items.

Is Thulabharam allowed for non-Hindus?

Thulabharam is performed outside the main sanctum (East Nada), but generally, only Hindus are permitted inside the temple premises.
